Who is a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)? A Speech-Language Pathologist is a professional who treats and diagnoses a range of communication disorders. SLP's can work in a variety of different settings including schools, hospitals, clinics & within a patient’s home.
What is Speech-Language Therapy? Speech or language therapy works to increase an individuals ability to communicate clearly and effectively. This can focus on the physical production of sounds or the content of what is being said. |
All about me...
I am a bilingual Speech and Language Pathologist working at CMSP 328 for the last 8 years. Prior to working in a middle school, I worked in a preschool setting. I graduated with a bachelor´s degree from Queens College and a master´s degree from St. John´s University.
